Benjamin Kowalewicz

Benjamin Kowalewicz is a Canadian musician best known as the lead vocalist of the punk rock band Billy Talent. Born on April 24, 1975, in Monarch Beach, California, he moved to Mississauga, Ontario, where he formed the band in 1993, initially under the name Pezz. The band adopted the name Billy Talent in 2001, inspired by a character in a novel by Michael Turner. Billy Talent's self-titled debut album, released in 2003, garnered critical acclaim and commercial success, featuring singles like "Try Honesty" and "The Ex." Their follow-up albums, including "Billy Talent II" (2006) and "Billy Talent III" (2009), solidified their place in the rock genre, with hits like "Devil in a Midnight Mass" and "Rusted from the Rain."
